Description

Gale Gordon starred as Flash Gordon in this 26 episode run of the Alex Raymond series. Maurice Franklin heard as Dr. Zarkov and Bruno Wick played the evil Emperor Ming. This series was mostly heard over Western radio stations from 04/27/35 until 10/26/35. Another series was heard at about the same time in the East. From 10/28/35 until 02/06/36 a series aired in New York and Detroit under the title of THE FURTHER INTERPLANETARY ADVENTURES OF FLASH GORDON and was heard with James Meighan appearing in the title role. That series aired five times a week, Monday through Friday. (We offer a single cassette here with four episodes from that series). A third attempt, on radio, brought Flash to life, but the following is the most widely known and the only complete series. Heard over MUTUAL. 15 minutes each.
