This series
originally was heard as a syndicated program over WMGM, NY. Heard over the
MUTUAL network beginning on 02/01/50, starring Lew Ayres and Lionel Barrymore as
Doctors James Kildare and Leonard Gillespie of Blair General Hospital. This is
the radio version of the famous string of movies that was so popular. Virginia
Gregg played Chief Nurse Parker. Others heard in the cast were Stacy Harris, Jay
Novello, Georgia Ellis, Paul Frees, Raymond Burr and Jack Webb. The last calling
of Dr. Kildare was in 1952.
